The OB Tech performs specific duties under the direction of a Registered nurse as unlicensed personnel.
This position supports the nurse in the unit by fulfilling assigned tasks which do not compromise the core of teh nursing process that require special knowledge, judgment, competence, and skill.
The OB Tech is responsible for assisting the patient under his/her care to reach an optimum level of wellness and comfort.
