The Medical Imaging Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting the patient under his or her care to reach an optimum level of wellness and comfort.
To this end he or she uses the nursing process in conjunction with the patient, patient's family, physician, and other members of the health care team.
The Professional Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients, and for supervising and responsibly directing the activities of all levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel utilizing professional discretion and independent judgment.
